STUDENT REVIEW - The Son of Sobek by Rick Riordan

The Son of Sobek
By Rick Riordan
Published by Disney Publishing Worldwide, 2013
eBook

In this e-book short story by Rick Riordan, Carter Kane is investigating rumored sightings of a monster on Long Island when he runs into something else: a mysterious boy named Percy Jackson. And their meeting isn't exactly friendly. . . .

This book has humor mixed with adventure/fantasy that everyone who’s read a book by Rick Riordan loves. Plus, I know I personally have been waiting forever for a cross-over. [I would change] nothing. This book is amazing. It’s just a tad bit too short. Yes, [I would recommend this book to a middle schooler] if you like mythology because this book mixes mythology with modern times.
